History and Description
Arizona
Automotive Institute was founded in October 1968. The campus is located
in beautiful Glendale, the fourth largest city in Arizona. Glendale
is located on the northwest border of Phoenix where the charm of the
Old West combines with a dynamic desert community.
A unique
Southwest life-style and numerous employment opportunitiesmake the Phoenix
area a great place in which to learn and work. The 7.5-acre campus,
conveniently located near public transportation, includes over 77,000
square feet of air-conditioned classrooms, shops, work areas, offices,
and a library containing reference and reading materials related to
the academic programs. Parking is provided for students, faculty, and
staff.
The shop
and work environments have been specifically designed to simulate actual
working conditions encountered in the industry. Equipment and teaching
aides provide real-world experience and the best training possible in
the fields of Automotive, Autotronics, and Diesel Technologies and Shop
Magagement.
